Description

Founded in 2009, Munster Times is a DIY fanzine out of Melbourne (Melbourne Rock City in Australia, not your grandparents’ retirement community in Florida), interviewing local and international bands, as well as reviews of forgotten movies and TV shows, new releases, rantings on football and cricket, tributes to the glory days of professional wrestling, and judgements on what is happening in Melbourne and Melbourne’s Southeast Suburbs. Plus asking every subject what their favourite Fall LP is.

Munster is the brainchild of Matt Ryan, lifetime resident of Melbourne, long time gig goer, radio host and running gigs at the St Kilda Bowls Club. Running 40 issues Munster Times is a labour of love to Melbourne’s current and past scenes, covering people and events that need to be preserved.

Issue 36: Interviews with Dom Mariani (the Stems, DM3, Datura 4), Daddy Long Legs, Huxton Creepers, The Prize, Shut Up and Wrestle host Brian R Solomon on his biography on the wrestler the Sheik, Henry Hugo, Rodney Todd, and Patrick Emery about his Spencer P Jones biography, film, tv and LP reviews, rant on the 2022 footy season gone, LP reviews, and more.
