They are a sludgy-doom 4 piece that burn bright with a punk authenticity, this reaches beyond just the standard mesmeric pace of the doom genre. They grab you by the face and violently take you with them. The maniacal and desperate screams pierce through the deep, chest shaking unisoned riffs, the shifts of pace throw you to all out maelstrom. But, there is triumph in this. In the madness. They revel in the filth. And you're dragged into that. Dragged into Black Grooves filthy pit of crisis doom. Put it this way, Black Sabbath would shake your hand, Black Groove would eat it. Best described as “metal-infused party punk”, they’ve carved out a niche for themselves somewhere in between The Chats, Noam Chomsky, and a greasy chicken kebab.
