Electric Frankenstein / The Drippers – Supercharged: Vinyl, LP, Album

£16.99

‘Supercharged’ unites two nihilistic, riff demons spawned from the same Rock ‘n Roll embryo. The legendary Electric Frankenstein return with Sweden’s finest The Drippers, both playin’ it fast and fierce utilizing buzzsaw riffs and monstrous hooks tearing through an absolute blitzkrieg of guitars-blazing, full-throttle demolition Rock. ‘Supercharged’ fires hard with one sonic punch after another; a bleary-eyed and pic shreddin’ monstrosity that bridges the gap between AC/DC, the Stooges, Radio Birdman and Motorhead.

Description

A veritable ode to Detroit in ’69 and Sydney in ’77 filtered through the classic guitar slingin’ sounds of mid to late-’70s metallic Arena Rock. Rarely do two hellions collide in such cohesiveness, but they do on this Split roaring like a ravenous Harley blaring down the highway, shredding all eardrums in their wake. This souped-up, Rock ‘n Roll riff-machine includes 12 rapid fire hits including the Drippers larynx shredding take on the Electric Frankenstein classic ‘Demolition Joyride’, that can only be found here. And test your Action Rock knowledge in the brain teasing ‘Supercharged’ Action Rock Puzzle with custom clues curated by both the Drippers and Electric Frankenstein exclusively for this release. This double-barrelled, treasure trove of Rawk is adorned with beautiful, eye popping artwork by both Adam Turman and The Pizz; with both bands at the top of their game unifying to create one monolithic release.
