Glass Hammers’ follows Eel Men’s 2025 debut, ‘Stop It! Do Something’, with the lead single introducing a direction described as more expansive and rhythm-driven. The band note that lyrically, the track addresses a “decline in human competence” brought about by distractions and disconnection. Their sound still captures angular guitars and restless rhythms set against the malaise of the everyday. But this new 4-track EP draws on more Eno-esque production sensibilities and a loose, groove-led approach which sets the tone for their second album. Limited risograph print cover.
