They are the soundtrack to your liquified body being pulled slowly into the tar pits by the doom demons below. \nThey are a sludgy-doom 4 piece that burn bright with a punk authenticity\, this reaches beyond just the standard mesmeric pace of the doom genre. They grab you by the face and violently take you with them. The maniacal and desperate screams pierce through the deep\, chest shaking unisoned riffs\, the shifts of pace throw you to all out maelstrom. But\, there is triumph in this. In the madness. They revel in the filth. And you’re dragged into that. Dragged into Black Grooves filthy pit of crisis doom. Put it this way\, Black Sabbath would shake your hand\, Black Groove would eat it. Four lifelong friends raging against the machine\, with topics ranging from generational discontent and the corruption of the public square\, to more light hearted topics like pounding pints and saggy scrotes- their mantra is “you’ve gotta laugh or you’ll cry”.
