DESCRIPTION:Northern Spain’s premier garage-psych festival\, Action Weekend\, has announced again for next April\, and what a lineup it promises to be! \nThe festival will take place in Santander at Escenario Santander on the 29th and 30th of April next year\, with four of the eight bands for the main shows announced: \nTopping the bill are garage-revival legends The Cynics who\, after 12 years since the release of their last album\, Spinning Wheel Motel\, have been back in the studio to record their next album. It’ll be great to hear what they’ve come up with and they are sure to set the stage alight with their great live show. And they are not the only ones with new albums in tow. \nThe Darts\, who recently announced their new album Snake Oil (Alternative Tentacles) will be back with a ton of new songs to showcase. Their live shows are always a riot as they blast through their organ-driven garage psych. On top of that\, French garage-punks Les Lullies will also be showcasing new songs from their forthcoming album\, to be released again on Slovenly Recordings. \nAlways ones to support the local and national scene\, Action Weekend have also announced that psych band Los Malinches will be playing\, making this first round of announcements their strongest to date. \nThey still have more bands to announce\, and other activities that will take place across the city throughout the weekend\, making the festival and must-visit for any garageheads that can make it. \nTickets are available now at a reduced price of 25€ (until the 5th of January) from Escenario Santander. \nRyanair flies daily from Stansted to Santander and twice a week from Manchester. \nFollow Action Weekend Festival on Facebook\, Twitter\, and Instagram. \n\nWe have a small favour to ask.
